Cisco Packet Tracer

CISCO Packet tracer is a cross platform visual tool for stimulation  designed by cisco up holding students to learn CCNA concepts free of charge .It allows students to design complex and large networks which is not feasible with the use of physical hardware ,often due to  high cost.
Packet tracer help innovate and design network topologies using drag and drop of network devices with minimal use of coding.

Packet Tracer workspace

The packet tracer has workspaces logical and physical, the logical space helps the user to find  logical network topologies and connect virtual devices and networks.

Menu bar provides file edit , options view and tools. you can access the activity wizard from extension menu.
Tool bar has shortcuts to file and edit options . At the right you can find network information which you can enter the description of current network here.

• Click the 'Enroll to Download Packet Tracer' button
• Enroll in the Intro to Packet Tracer Course
• Complete your Networking Academy registration
• Launch the Intro to Packet Tracer Course
• Download instructions are found within the course .

System requirements:

Intel Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz or better is required. It needs at least 1GB Hard Disk, 500 MB RAM, sound card, and speakers.
